qCf FC50/125

qCf - Our revolutionary test cell system for professional characterisation of fuel cells
The qCf quickCONNECTfixture is a priceless tool for research and development and high quality control requirements. Any type of PEM fuel cell internal component, such as membranes, electrodes and CCM, MEA, GDL, can be easily tested. To ensure fully reproducible test conditions, the contact pressure on the 50 cm² active fuel cell area can be directly regulated using a pneumatic actuator. Both our standard flow field plates and also our customised products can be changed over easily. In addition to the qCf FC 50/125 basic model we also offer customised solutions.

Fuelcells | Electrolysis

Flow field plates are key components in fuel cells. There is a very large, diverse range of configuration options, ranging from straight, parallel channels to a serpentine design. Graphite is used as the base material for flow field plates in fuel cells.

For electrolysis applications, both the configuration and the flow field plate base material are key. To avoid damage to the graphite on the anode during PEM electrolysis of water we use flow field plates made from titanium. Gold or platinum coatings can also be supplied.

For electrolysis applications in the alkaline range we use nickel flow field plates for the anode and cathode.
